About Us

The Delaware Valley Oldsmobile Club (DVOC) is an official chapter of the Oldsmobile Club of America, chartered in 2003.

· Comprised of around 70 members in the greater Philadelphia, PA area
· Host two car shows and other events per year for members and their families (see Join the Club for more details)
· Dedicated to promoting, restoring, educating and enjoying Oldsmobiles
· All years and models of Oldsmobiles welcome, regardless of condition
· Ownership of an Oldsmobile is not required
· Membership in the OCA is not required, though encouraged!
· No requirements for attendance at meetings or events, writing articles for newsletter, etc—just join and enjoy when and where you can !

History

· The idea for a chapter in the greater Philadelphia, PA area was formed by Jeff Antonucci and Tom Aukzemas in 2002.
· Organized in late 2002, club formation meeting in Dec 2002, 20 members petitioned OCA early 2003.
· Chartered in July, 2003 at the OCA Nationals in Cincinnati, OH
· First Fall show at Kerr Park in Oct 2003 brought 50 cars!
· First Spring show with VF Cadillac club in May 2004, later evolved to BOPC show with GTO Club of DE at Kahunaville in DE. BOPC tradition continued in Malvern, PA , Granite Run Mall in Media, PA, VFW Downingtown, PA and West Goshen Park, West Chester, PA
· Oldsmobile Forever tree planted at AACA museum in Hershey, PA in 2005 with Blue Gray chapter and Allegheny Rockets
· Spring Dust off added 2005. First one was in Strasburg, PA at Railroad Museum.
· Co host Carlisle all GM Nationals with Blue Gray chapter started in 2010
· Fall Color Cruise and covered bridge tour started in 2010
· Summer Picnic in West Chester, PA added 2012
·  Hosted first OCA Atlantic Northeast Zone show in Morgantown, PA in 2020 and again in 2021
